Does Wildwood's Full-Spectrum CBD Have THC in it?

Yes. All of Wildwood Herbal's products are full spectrum, which means there is a trace amount of THC (below the federally legal amount, 0.3% Delta 9 THC) and all sorts of other amazing cannabinoids. These cannabinoids are incredible, natural healing resources that support issues around pain, inflammation, and anxiety. CBD, CBG, CBDA, are a few of the cannabinoids included in our CBD oil, as well as particular terpenes that offer profile aromas.

What is the CBD Entourage Effect?  

The Entourage Effect is a term that describes how the various compounds found in full spectrum CBD products work together to offer a fuller, more well-rounded CBD experience that is more beneficial than products that separate the compounds into more targeted concentrations. Because full spectrum CBD products have trace amounts of Delta-9 THC, full spectrum CBD products give users the 'full effect' of the cannabis plant, without the psychoactive 'high' associated with marijuana.

Wildwood Herbal's full spectrum CBD contains a wide variety of terpenes and cannabinoids like CBG and CBDA. These various components work together in holistic synergy to create a product that is greater than the sum of its parts.

Is CBD safe for animals and pets? 

The quick answer is yes. CBD is safe for pets, and has lots of benefits for our furry friends. The amount to give will depend upon the weight of your animal. A good starting point of reference is 1-2mg per 10lbs of weight.

 

Is CBD safe if I'm nursing or pregnant? 

If you're pregnant or nursing and wondering if CBD can offset some of the symptoms of pregnancy like nausea, swollen ankles, or sleeplessness, the answer is yes. However, the relative safety of CBD for unborn babies hasn't been thoroughly studied. We believe that CBD is safe for all humans, but it's always best to consult your prenatal physician, and most importantly, follow your heart. 


Will CBD appear on a drug test?

Short answer: maybe. CBD does have trace amounts of Delta-9 THC, which is the psychoactive compound that drug tests are aiming for. However, there are many variables to consider, such as the sensitivity of the test, your metabolism, the rate at which you are using the product. If you're unsure about it, you can get an at-home test from your local pharmacy and see for yourself. 

 

Smoking pot makes me paranoid. Will CBD make me paranoid too?

Because there is only a slight trace amount of Delta-9 THC in Wildwood's full spectrum CBD products (below the federally legal limit), there is no high that results from use. We have never had a customer report feeling paranoid or an anxious sensation from using any of our happy, healthy hemp products. 

 

What's the best dosage for full spectrum CBD products? 

Everyone's body may react differently to CBD, therefore it is hard to say what your dosage could look like. With tinctures, we can recommend recommend starting with a low dose (maybe .25ml or .50ml) and slowly increasing (as needed/desired) to find your well-balanced dose.
